Abstracts should only be submitted via the online submission links below. Please note, abstracts submitted via email or fax will not be accepted. For oral presentations, abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered for oral soap box sessions.
The presenting author is expected to attend the conference and present the poster, or oral presentation. Therefore, registration and payment for the conference are pre-requisite for presenting authors.
Abstracts may be in one of the following topics:
Age appropriateness of formulations
Administration devices
Biopharmaceutics
Excipients
Developing paediatric formulations for low resource settings
Taste Assessment and Taste Masking
Authors are kindly requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
Language: English
Abstract text word limit: 1 A4 page
Line spacing of the text: Single
Abstract title typed in UPPER CASE
The abstract should be divided into the following subsections, the subtitles should be typed in lower case:
Introduction
Purpose
Materials and Methods
Results
Conclusions
The text may include standard abbreviations, tables, diagrams and photographs; as long as they stay within the page margins and that the total amount of words does not exceed 1 A4 size page including the abstract title and the names and/or affiliations of authors.
Please note that the EuPFI Conference Committee will review all submitted abstracts and decide as to the form of presentation (oral or poster) as well as the topic the abstract will be presented under. However you are encouraged to give your preference.
The 6 best abstracts will be presented as oral presentations during the conference (all other abstracts will be presented as posters).
Limited number of PCCA Poster awards in the amount of € 245 will be rewarded. Be sure to select Poster as the form of presentation and check the box for PCCA Award. Recipients must present a poster at the EuPFI 16th Conference. The criteria for eligibility and details are available here
IMPORTANT NOTES
Abstracts submitted after June 20th, 2024 will not be accepted for oral presentations but may be considered for poster presentation.
The submitting author will receive a confirmation via e-mail upon completion of abstract submission in two working days. In the event that you do not receive such notification, please contact the Conference Organisers (admin@eupfi.co.uk).
Abstracts previously published (in local or international journals) or presented at international meetings and/or conferences, will not be accepted.
Submitting authors will be informed about the status of the abstract (accepted / rejected) as follows:
- July 10th, 2024: Notification about abstract acceptance for oral presentations
- July 31st, 2024: Notification about abstract acceptance for poster presentations
Please follow the instructions carefully, as incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
Instructions for preparation of posters and oral presentations will be sent together with the acceptance notification.
